Full thin, lightweight Atomknit upper. Collapsible heel (with “STEP” written on the top) for entry. Pull-cord, located near the tongue, (with “LOCK” written on the top) for lockdown. Pull-loop (with “RELEASE” written on the top) for loosening, found near the toes. Duel foam midsole, with ZoomX on top of React, and two visible forefoot Zoom Air units for cushioning. Hard rubber outsole.

I found the FlyEase system on the Tempo Next% very intuitive and easy. At first the collapsible heel worried me, due to the fact that I could not collapse it using my hands - I feared it would be too hard to collapse. However, when I used my foot the heel collapsed as it should. The way the shoe tightens and loosens gave me no problems, it was easy to do. However, I should add that I do not tighten or loosen my pair; I have no need to, they stay on my feet fine without tightening. Of all my FlyEase shoes, I would have to say the FlyEase system on these is the best.
Cushion - 9.9/10
For lifestyle wear, this midsole, made of ZoomX, React, and Zoom Air, is fantastic. This is easily the most cushioned shoe in my collection, I love it. ZoomX may have overtaken adidas’ BOOST as my favorite cushioning foam. However, the long term durability of the ZoomX foam is not the best.
Looks - 8.5/10
The Tempo Next% FlyEase has an aggressive and fast look. Two Nike Swooshes are painted on the upper, with the lateral side’s Swoosh being the bigger of the two. The Atomknit upper is partly see through, showing sock color. Both midsole foams crease fast, not looking new for long. I chose the Black/White/Volt colorway and like the look of the shoe.
Fit And Sizing
Wide enough for most people. Length is perfect when you go true to size.
Overall
For everyday wear, the Nike Air Zoom Tempo Next% FlyEase is great. They are quick and easy to get on and take off. Underfoot cushioning is fantastic. And they look good. I highly recommend this pair.
